Please report any sightings of
 Red or Grey Squirrels.
This information is vital to our group

Formed on Sunday the 13 January 2008. The Glens Red Squirrel Group has in its constitution the following Object :
“The Group is established to monitor and report the activities of the Red Squirrel in the Glens of Antrim. The Group will endeavor to protect the Red Squirrel and to provide whatever assistance possible to enable it to thrive in the Glens of Antrim.”

In furtherance of these objects the Group intends to raise Public awareness of the plight of the Red Squirrel and to educate and encourage young people in conservation of the “Reds” throughout the country.
The Group needs support from all sources and areas. We need active “Field” people to go and survey and gather data. We also need people to:-

Make and look after feeders.
To record reports and results of surveys
To visit other organisations and co-ordinate joint initiatives
To join us and attend events
To get others to join if only to donate a small amount  to pay our costs.
Give us ideas and then to help us carry them out.

THIS IS THE TIME TO DO SOMETHING THAT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
SAVE THE RED SQUIRREL FOR THE NEXT GENERATION. IT IS UP TO US.
NO ONE ELSE CAN OR WILL DO IT.

Joe Dowdall
Chair GRSG.
